Self Published, Texas 1931 - Quarto full limp cowhide. Leather thong tie at the upper edge. Printed on the rectos only. With eight full or near full-page illustrations and a number of vignettes by Dick Spencer who has inscribed this copy on the title page as follows, "To my friend Ed Woodsmith, best wishes, Dick Spencer." Beautifully printed by hand on Japanese paper. There is some uneven sunning along with some wrinkling and very light edge wear to the front. Some spotting to the left, front. Light soiling to the rear. The interior is fine. A legendary rarity among fine Texas printing in the twentieth century.
