Richmond, London: for the Author at The Hogarth Press,, [1921]. Octavo. Original wrappers, sewn at the fold, title to front in black. Bookplate of Dr J S Rake to front blank. Extremities somewhat rubbed and toned, a few other marks and light dust soiling, some very minor spotting within, but entirely sound and in very good condition. First edition, first impression, very scarce. Woolmer notes that the number of copies printed is not known, but that 176 copies were recorded as sold to 31 January 1923. The Canadian poet Frank James Prewett (1893–1962) spent most of his life in the United Kingdom. He surfaced as a war poet of the First World War, meeting Sassoon at Craiglockhart War Hospital. After the war he became a favourite at Garsington. His poetry was included in the final Georgian Poetry anthology and Oxford Poetry.
