N. Simrock [PN 61.], Bonn 1797 - Oblong folio. Half contemporary mid-tan calf with marbled boards, dark red leather title label gilt to upper, raised bands on spine in gilt-ruled compartments. 1f. (recto title with large engraved woodland scene, verso blank), [1] (cast list and table of contents), 2-201, [i] (blank) pp. Engraved throughout.Binding considerably worn and bumped; spine cracked with some loss; lacking free front endpaper. Slightly worn, soiled, and foxed; small binder's holes to blank upper inner margins. First Edition. Scarce. Hirsch IV 1304. RISM W1467 (with arranger's surname correctly spelled "Zulehner"). Das Unterbrochene Operfest was quite successful and ranks as one of Winter's most highly regarded works. It was first performed in Vienna at the Kärntnertor on June 14th 1796.
